   5 Types of Ponds Video

Water Gardens and container gardens are the simplest of all forms of water gardening. Water quality isn't as much a concern because this type of pond is mainly for growing aquatic plants. Usually all you need is a small liner, a pump, a small filter and tubing. Our Tempo Pond Kit is the perfect combination for your water garden project and you won't believe the price.

Container gardens are simply anything can hold water and house a pump. You can successfully grow aquatic plants almost anything. Use your imagination, glazed pottery to old antiques consider making a focal feature in your yard.

Patio Ponds are usually bought in a complete kit and are no larger than 1400 gallons. These ponds are usually filled with an abundance of aquatic plants and some goldfish or small koi. This is a great step into the water gardening world. The Prelude Kit is the best patio pond kit.

Ecoponds are the most popular of all pond types. Our Ecopond kits are require no tools to install and are very low maintenance. Once your ecosystem is established nature will take over leaving you with a nearly self maintaining system. Our Sonata, Melody, Harmony and Symphony Kits will help you build the pond you desire.

Backyard Brooks are the safest water features you could have. No deep water to worry about. These kits require no filtration since there are no fish. They can be planted with aquatic plants and you can create a stream of any length. Enjoy the sights and sounds of moving water without the worry of maintenance.

Koi Ponds are for raising and breeding koi. They require elaborate filtration systems. While looks aren't a major element many koi ponds may be constructed to blend in with their natural surroundings. Most of the Koi enthusiasts do not recommend gravel in the bottom of the pond. We consider ourselves to be Koi enthusiasts and we have had gravel in the bottom of some of our ponds for over 15 years. We have never cleaned that pond out and it is one of our most popular display ponds.
